Welcome to Four Oaks House, where family moments come to life in a spacious and inviting setting. Whether you’re gathering for a special occasion or simply looking to reconnect, this house offers the perfect blend of comfort, relaxation, and entertainment. Set just outside Carlisle in the peaceful village of Cargo, Four Oaks House combines modern amenities with the charm of the Cumbrian countryside.
When you arrive, you’ll find a private yard with plenty of space for parking. The yard features a 4-hole crazy golf course, complete with all the fun extras and ideal for anyone looking to enjoy a bit of friendly competition. For younger guests, toy cars are ready for a race, while the rest of the space is perfect for relaxing and soaking in the views.
The large deck with a beautiful balustrade surrounds the hot tub, designed for ultimate relaxation. After a day of adventure, this is the perfect place to unwind. With seating for six and 120 jets, it’s ideal for letting the day slip away. The hot tub is covered by a gazebo with privacy curtains and mosquito nets, ensuring a peaceful soak, no matter the weather.

Booking FAQs
Deposit: 25% due at booking. Remaining balance and a £750 refundable security deposit are due 4 weeks before arrival.
Security Deposit: Returned within 1 week after departure, provided the property is left clean and undamaged.
Hot Tub: Included in the price and available year-round.
Linen & Towels: Beds are made with linen and towels. Please bring your own towel for the hot tub.
Dogs: Welcome at £20 per dog per stay.
Kitchen Basics: Tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, cloths, and sponges provided. Tea, coffee, and sugar sachets included.
Peaceful Stays: To help everyone enjoy a peaceful stay at Four Oaks Estate, we ask guests to respect our no-parties policy, including hen and stag groups. Our homes are best suited to families and pre-formed groups staying together, and we kindly request that outdoor areas are kept quiet after 9:30pm.

We have absolutely loved spending time at the Four Oaks House with family this weekend to celebrate a family members special birthday. The house is very spacious, clean and very accommodating for all ages groups. Everyone in our group has had a wonderful time. The staff are contactable at any point during the stay to help with anything, which was a bonus. A fabulous place to stay, highly recommended and we definitely wish to return
We recently stayed at four oaks house and had a fabulous time, the house was great for everyone especially the kids they all had the best time. It has everything you need just take food and clothes, we booked the swimming pool in Dalston too which was fab! And had a walk to the little park down the road. It’s ideal for a group/family break. The communication with the hosts before/during and after has been great too.
we stayed in January 2025 , fabulous house , everything you could need to keep the kids entertained (don't think I heard them say I'm bored once, which is a first). All room clean and tidy. customer service brilliant. Definitely recommend 10/10. Thank you again for a lovely stay and fabulous weekend
